ARA is seeking a Production Coordinator, which is responsible for scheduling and managing of production orders. The ideal candidate should be skilled using computer systems to oversee production work and inventory.

As a Production Coordinator at the Integrated Products Division, you will have exposure to mechanical and electrical assemblies on state-of-the-art products. From security systems to robotics, our products vary considerably.

  • What you’ll do as a Production Coordinator

  • Review new bill of materials to verify setup is correct to meet production’s requirements.

  • Create and schedule production builds based on sales order and project management demand.

  • Run inventory reports, analyze material shortages and create purchasing requisitions to trigger material procurement.

  • Review material receipts.

  • Compile and release prepared manufacturing documentation, including work orders and design documentation to the production floor.

  • Transfer material and products through the manufacturing, inspection, test and shipping areas to meet established delivery schedules.

  • Monitor complete cycle of production builds and perform critical item follow-up to assure builds remain on schedule.

  • Assist with packaging and shipping orders to customers.

  • Assist with the disposition and correction of non-conforming material with quality and manufacturing personnel.

  • Assist with the disposition of material impacted by engineering changes with quality and engineering personnel.

  • Production Coordinator Requirements

  • ERP/MRP system experience.

  • Ability to work independently and problem solve.

  • Effective communicator oral and written.

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

  • Capable of multi-tasking and have flexibility as required to help our teams in the areas of need.

  • High school diploma and 8 years' experience or bachelor’s degree with 2 years' experience.

  • Two years minimum experience in manufacturing environment.

  • Production Coordinator Preferences

  • Scheduling experience.
