Job Description

To ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel. To deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

· Assist in overall supervision of the department as outlined in manager’s job description.

· Handle guest comments and complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.

· Stay on the floor during peak hours and monitor each guest experience.

· Observe, teach and correct staff’s service. Provide training as necessary.

· Examine food preparation and beverage presentation.

· Maintain condition of dining room, lobby lounge, morsels, mini bar and room service.

· Prepare schedules and prepare bi-weekly payroll documents for the Payrollmaster.

· Participate in interviewing candidates and training new hires.

· Prepare maintenance request and follow-up.

· Monitor food and liquor requisitions and food waste. Order daily supplies.

· Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.

· Must know emergency procedures and work to prevent accidents.

Qualifications

· 2 years of experience in Food and Beverage Supervision or Management role preferred.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Must have a strong attention to detail as well as strong customer service skills.

· Must have valid CA Food Handler's and TIPS certification.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

· Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time, up to entire working shift.

Pay Range: $70,000 salary. The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
