Vontier VP, Global Talent and Inclusion, Diversity, & Equity in Raleigh, North Carolina

The VP, Global Talent & Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (ID&E) plays a critical role in defining the human capital agenda and enterprise-wide ID&E vision and strategy to ensure they are embedded throughout our purpose, values, and employee experience. They will have responsibility for working with the talent acquisition team on the overall strategy and management of talent acquisition, in addition to driving Vontier’s talent development, organizational development & change management, performance management, learning and growth, and succession planning in support of our talent initiatives. This role will also be responsible for partnering with the OpCo’s and HR leaders across the globe to guide the development of ID&E action plans and ensure collective alignment and impact.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The VP, Global Talent and ID&E will focus on the following key elements:

  • Develop short- and long-term strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent across the organization to further enhance and evolve a performance-based culture.

  • Lead worldwide talent strategy with a focus on strategic talent planning and talent management.

  • Build and facilitate relevant succession planning programs to promote internal mobility and career advancement.

  • Help design and deliver on our diversity, equity, and inclusion talent strategy.

  • Design, develop, and implement training, development, and mentorship programs to build organizational capabilities and to attract, retain, inspire, and develop leadership at all levels.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and business leadership as it relates to organizational design, process, people, and ID&E.

  • In partnership with OpCo business leaders, work to improve organizational effectiveness.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and skill/career development to the talent team.

  • Act as a full and trusted partner with the CPO and the rest of the Executive Leadership Team.

  • Using competitive trends and data insights, drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, ID&E and other strategic talent programs across the enterprise.

  • Envision, design, and drive long-term strategies, frameworks and implementation plans for evolving a more inclusive culture and increasing the representation and advancement of diverse talent.

  • Provide strategic leadership for all cross-organizational initiatives such as diversity goals and the annual external release of our ID&E demographic data.

  • Identify, design, and execute global ID&E learning programs that have company wide application to achieve measurable long-term behavior change.

  • Partner with OpCo’s to identify ID&E content needed and mandatory learning paths for managers and ensure readiness for launch.

  • Partner with internal teams across OpCos to ensure an integrated approach when engaging in external outreach and sponsorship opportunities.

  • Work with Executive communications team to infuse ID&E messaging into communications and ensure they are informed and prepared to evangelize key points.

  • Collaborate with business and HR leaders as well as ID&E Councils to strategically integrate and "operationalize" ID&E initiatives within business strategies.

  • Provide subject matter expertise, strategic planning, thought leadership and partnership with senior line management and HR leadership to drive key business outcomes.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven experience leading and building a talent function for a highly complex and global organization at all levels, including working with an executive team and the Board of Directors.

  • Delivering results globally and at scale with experience in wide scale program implementation, collaboration, and communication experience particularly within matrixed organization.

  • Attracting and recruiting top talent, motivating teams, delegating effectively, and promoting and celebrating diversity.

  • Delivering on aggressive diversity equity and inclusion metrics, while ultimately fostering a truly unique diverse culture.

  • Applying data and analytics along with key performance metrics to influence and inform executive decision-making.

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience leading global talent and ID&E in a similar size organization.

  • Demonstrated experience in change management and people skills.

  • Strategic planning experience.

  • Experience analyzing workforce data.
