Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Design the end-to-end system architecture, data interaction patterns, and deployment plan for the product to enable repeatable, stable, and scalable deployments. Develop web applications using Microsoft .Net technologies. Deploy and manage applications in production and various non-production environments. Monitor the health of the deployed applications and services, creating dashboards and real-time alerting. Participate in different Scrum ceremonies such as grooming, planning, standup, and retrospectives. Responsible for the code reviews, managing development and production releases, advocating for, and augmenting the platform principles, guidelines, and standards. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Raleigh, NC. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Salary: $151,986 - $163,600 per year

What you have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s related experience.

Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: .Net Core, Web API, .Net Framework, C#, Asp.Net, and Asp.Net MVC; Angular, Angular JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap; Document-oriented NoSQL database such as MongoDB, and Distributed Caching database such as Redis; Agile Development, Unit Tests, and Test-Driven Development; Software design patterns such as Factory Method design pattern and Singleton design pattern; Cloud technologies such as PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry); and Authentication and Authorization principles OAuth and SAML.
