Our role as the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget. Software Engineer 2 - Xamarin Full Stack

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin Forms.

  • Implement mobile user interfaces and interactive features with a focus on delivering an exceptional user experience.

  • Integrate backend APIs to support data synchronization and functionality.

  • Design, develop and implement APIs using .NET and Azure.

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable and high-performance NoSQL and relational databases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA engineers and product owners, to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues as needed.

  • Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure application performance, usability, and reliability.

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, scalability, and adherence to architectural standards.

  • Stay updated with the latest Xamarin and .NET technologies, trends, and industry best practices.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Xamarin.Forms development, with a proven track record of developing and deploying cross-platform mobile applications.
  1. Familiarity with .NET MAUI is a plus.

  2. Basic knowledge of Android and iOS native development is a plus.

  • 3+ years of experience in .NET development using C# with ASP.NET, .NET Core.

  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile applications.

  • Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Service Bus and Azure Storage.

  1. Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and event driven communication with Azure Service Bus is a plus.
  • Proficient in using version control systems (GitHub/Azure DevOps).

  • Experience in designing and developing applications using MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, and

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL server

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

The base pay for this role is between $115,000 and $120,000; base pay may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Certain positions may also be eligible for a performance-based incentive as part of total compensation.
