Summary
The Senior Director Product Management for Fleet Management Solutions provides leadership and expertise associated with the delivery and expansion of complimentary products of Choicelease, SelectCare, and Rental operations, customers, and end users. The incumbent is responsible for developing product vision and strategy and leading the product organization in delivering a differentiated product position in the market. With a focus on exceptional operations and user experience the Senior Director will leverage a data driven mentality to establish a value centered product roadmap which balances customer requirements and market opportunities. They will oversee the product management program, governance, and prioritization of initiatives with an emphasis on business growth within and across verticals, improved efficiencies, and bottom-line margin. This individual is a key advocate for customer executive, business and technical teams, Ryder executive, sales and operations staff, and Ryder stakeholders across all functions.
The Product Owner will be an expert in the Ryder business, understanding the complexity of the supply chain world and the role that advanced products play within the Ryder ecosystem.
Essential Functions
Develop, Launch & Support New Products Across Ryder. The Product Owner will orchestrate the launch of products and subsequent releases of new features or capabilities for Ryder’s business units. They will collaborate across functions and business units to successfully growth revenues and deliver value to both users and customers.
Deep Knowledge of the Logistics Market and Industry. The Product Owner will not only understand the industry in which Ryder is competing, but also the key trends and disruptors in supply chain technology, customer behaviors and expectations.
Define a holistic customer experience and product roadmap focused on clear business metrics and targets.
Lead the product management team in an Agile environment spanning multiple initiatives and solutions.
Lead development of go to market strategy, product positioning, and messaging. Define program goals including costs and price targets, product performance goals and other business objectives.
Foster an environment focused on rapid, data driven experimentation and deliver improvements to product launches and business outcomes.
Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and own prioritization to optimize value delivery and business growth.
Provide product leadership at the enterprise level in products supporting a diverse portfolio of personas.
Partner with teams to accelerate innovation across multiple swim lanes (product, experience, platform and API, data, etc.) with a continuous learning and growth mindset.
Lead with a Voice of Customer and data centered mentality to execute product delivery from conception to market.
Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate with Rental, Asset Management, Marketing, Sales and Operations in developing and executing product plans aimed at exceeding customer and Ryder requirements, as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to develop strategic plans aligned with clear objectives with a strong capability to provide a shared understanding for same with all stakeholders involved.
Ability to express complex strategic and technical concepts in terms relatable to the audience.
Demonstrable skill in analyzing and leveraging data in informing and making strategic and tactical prioritization decisions.
Proficiency in Agile and ideally Design Thinking methodology, with a focus on managing solution driven strategic plans to achieve goals.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills delivered with an empathetic and service leadership-oriented mindset.
Demonstrated skills in organizational group and change management processes, problem identification, continuous improvement and resolution at both strategic and functional levels.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree computer science, business administration or related field or equivalent experience
Master's degree computer science, business administration or related field preferred.
Ten (10) years or more experience, with background in product management, digital transformation, solution design, business planning, strategy development, competitive analysis and financial analysis, required.
Four (4) years or more experience leadership experience in a product team in a large and complex environment. Ideally in a very large enterprise organization, required.
Zero (0) to One (1) year or more experience interacting with multi-functional teams with members from the Executive down to user levels, preferred.
Zero (0) to One (1) year or more experience leading product teams focused on SaaS delivery of e-commerce, logistics, and operations solutions in an Agile environment, preferred.

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.
Compensation ranges for the position are below:

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
