We are seeking a Product Manager to oversee several priority business projects within the portfolio, focusing on the improvement of internal, as well as customer-facing systems and programs. This position will be full time and remote.
What You’ll Do
Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion
Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources
Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans
Define users and project team members’ roles and responsibilities on the project
Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals
Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met
Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders
Attend product demos to listen for and communicate concerns and project risks
Conduct regular recap emails to various stakeholders
Budget tracking and reporting
What You'll Need
Required:
Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in project management
Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in project discovery and the ability to understand and manage requirements
Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with budget management for large scale enterprise projects
Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with SAFe/ Agile practices
Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with creating and managing project charters
Ability to work across multiple functions within the agency to extract information
Ability to grasp complex information and distill it across different communication channels
Skilled at prioritization, and ability to balance multi-tasking and focused work
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving internal and external customer experiences
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
