Job Description

We are seeking a Product Manager to oversee several priority business projects within the portfolio, focusing on the improvement of internal, as well as customer-facing systems and programs. This position will be full time and remote.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion

  • Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans

  • Define users and project team members’ roles and responsibilities on the project

  • Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals

  • Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met

  • Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders

  • Attend product demos to listen for and communicate concerns and project risks

  • Conduct regular recap emails to various stakeholders

  • Budget tracking and reporting

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in project management

  • Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in project discovery and the ability to understand and manage requirements

  • Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with budget management for large scale enterprise projects

  • Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with SAFe/ Agile practices

  • Five (5) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with creating and managing project charters

  • Ability to work across multiple functions within the agency to extract information

  • Ability to grasp complex information and distill it across different communication channels

  • Skilled at prioritization, and ability to balance multi-tasking and focused work

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving internal and external customer experiences

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
