Pre / Post Sales Engineer - Quadient SME

Work Location: - Fully Remote - U.S.Position:

The Pre/Post Sales engineer serves as the Quadient SME to support the provider’s operations team to provide direction and consulting guidance for template design from conception to development including operational processes. He/She will drive collaboration with Product, IT, development and internal stakeholder teams for template design best practices. This is a client facing role that provides consulting guidance to our customers on design approach and best in class solution while achieving operational efficiencies and productivity.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work hand in hand with Quadient/other Professional services team for the build-out of our new Smart Communication Platform on Cloud and be the owner post the PSO contractual end

  • Solution development for upcoming product build-out and features and maintaining base product

  • Documentation and training for the Operations team to create new templates

  • Mentor Operations team on complex template logic and variable data programming concepts

  • Managing systems and application debugging.

  • Responsible for working with Ops team and occasionally with customer contacts in order to gather, understand and communicate various composition and production processing requirements.

  • Work with Ops team and/or customers in solutioning and architecting complex workflows.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of Quadient Interactive/Designer experience

  • Extensive knowledge in creating Quadient Designer workflows with dynamic flows and tables for use in Quadient Interactive

  • Proficiency with Inspire Content Manager and Inspire Interactive utilizing the json data format.

  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of the various operational functions; resolves a wide range of issues leveraging innovative and out of the box solutions.

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams, up, down and across the organization

  • Work independently with minimal oversight and guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: BS/BA or equivalent work experience

  • Quadient Interactive/Designer experience

  • Provides technical expertise for Quadient Interactive/Designer tools

  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma.

  • Develop workflow diagrams and evaluates existing processes.

  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.

  • Develops metrics for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

  • Works on a wide range of problems with diverse scope using data to determine root cause and to develop efficient solutions.

  • Measures and track performance against process change and requirements.

  • Aligns improvement top performance shortfalls.

  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.

  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.

  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for process improvements.

  • Provide communication on project status, progress and risks.

  • Performs cost and benefit analyses.

  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma.

  • Develop workflow diagrams and evaluates existing processes.

  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.

Colorado Residents Only:

The base pay range for Colorado residents is $71,550.00 - $145,750.00 plus any relevant incentive pay programs that may be aligned to the role.
