About the role

· This individual will lead all aspects of day-to-day interior & exterior services in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) manufacturing environment. These services will include, but not limited to: Landscaping, Security, EV Stations, Industrial Garments, AEDs/Medical Cabinets, Exterior Glass, Shredding, and non-GMP housekeeping. Will partner closely with Site Service Operations Manager, contracted vendors, and client facility team.

  • This role will have a heavy focus on vendor management, ensuring contracts are fulfilled, inspections/audits, GxP Life Sciences documentation, work order management and initiating deviations and corrective actions as applicable.

  • Physical location is at Research Triangle Park facility in Durham, NC and is an on-site role.

What you’ll do

Provides supervision and leadership of a field service team that ensures the efficient and safe maintenance of client location.

In partnership with local management coordinates the day-to-day workflow of contracted vendors to ensure achievements and accurate procedures; resolves client concerns and answers questions regarding policies and procedures. Handles day-to-day issues as they arise. Ability to identify and appropriately resolve issues.

Provides supervision to contracted vendors for Interior and Exterior Facilities Services at this client site. Provides assistance such as technical mentorship, and/or training. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments. Monitors performance and ensures contract fulfillment. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) preferred or minimum of 5 years of experience in soft services management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other software.

  • Prefer experience leading soft services and related vendors within the Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical/ FDA industry or relevant critical environments.
