Position Information:

The Education Resource Specialist, RN is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and developing education programs for nursing staff in the medical/surgical/oncology population as well as the specific hospital-wide nursing service. The Education Resource Specialist, RN functions as an education advisor to nursing personnel and as a facilitator for their continued development. In the organization and administration of staff development efforts, applies nursing, adult learning, and other theories as appropriate.

Experience Requirements:

5 Years Nursing - Related Area With 1 Year Education - Teaching and Facilitation of Learning Required

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required - And Master's Degree Nursing Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Registered Nurse Required - And National Certification in Nursing Preferred

Hours of Work:

M-F

Weekend Requirements:

As Needed
