Description:

This company is focused on developing and commercializing innovative therapies for the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases with significant unmet medical needs.

They are looking to bring on a Data Manager that will be more of a Data Owner for the commercial side of the business. This is not a people leadership position, as it leads more towards Data Product Ownership or Analysis.

There are two vendors that currently help with data work for the Commercial side of the business. This individual will be the point of contact for these vendors, so having the ability to communicate with vendors and multiple stakeholders is critical for this position. This individual will work between the Commercial and IT side of of the company to bridge a current gap. This individual will be responsible for data procedures and troubleshooting methods for this team. For example, if a data set is not refreshing, the business side does not have an individual that can tell them why this is happening at the current moment. This means understanding Data Warehousing, Data Marts, Dashboarding, etc. This team uses Power BI, Power BI Gateway, and Power BI Cloud, along with SQL. MariaDB is an open-source relational database management system that is used to connect to their data mart.
