Stevenson Consulting, Inc. Construction Field Technician in Raleigh, North Carolina
Mosher Engineering, a Stevenson Consulting affiliate, is a well-established engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspections. We are looking for a full-time CONSTRUCTION FIELD TECHNICIAN to join our team. This position will require day and overnight travel.
Responsibilities:
Observing and testing samples of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt on client’s job sites
Preparing daily field reports for management review
Assisting with laboratory testing and other assigned tasks as needed
Daily interaction with clients and team members
Other responsibilities as assigned
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience in construction industry
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and team lift 70 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders
Willingness to work off-shift hours, including some weekends
Willingness to work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
Ability to use electronic devices
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving history
Must pass background screen and drug screening
Preferred:
ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector or ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector
ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector
ACI Concrete Field Grade I
Nuclear Safety
VDOT Soils and Aggregate
VDOT Asphalt Level I & II
