Currently seeking a Project Engineer / Project Manager with Civil Engineering & Design experience. BNK is a well recognized firm with a strong reputation throughout eastern North Carolina.

Civil department is seeking a civil project engineer or project manager who is an emerging leader or charismatic individual who will eventually become the leader of their firm in Raleigh. They're are seeking someone with project management capabilities who is a self-starter and is able to see a project through from the beginning to end with minimal monitoring. A PE is preferred, but an EI is acceptable, if they will be obtaining the PE in the near future. Current Vice President will be retiring and it is important that they identify the next leader within in the next 12-18 months. We will need this person up to speed prior to that individuals exit from BNK.

The ideal PM/Civil Engineer candidate will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of engineering services in our team-oriented environment providing residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, private and state clients with professional engineering services for utility infrastructure, storm water management/drainage design, roadway design, and civil/site development.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in project management, site civil design and permitting.

• Approximately 8 to 12 years of experience performing civil/site design (including grading, erosion and sediment control, etc.), storm water management engineering, and related civil engineering tasks

• Experience in land development/planning, oil/gas, transportation, and a plus.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D

• Excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to work in a team environment are also required.

• This position includes the need for occasional inter- and intrastate travel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Civil Design - 2+ years of experience in Project Management - 7+ Total Years of Experience - PE or soon to be in State of NC. - Site & Land Development Design Experience - Software Experience (Civil 3D) - C
