RedHat Analytics Product Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina

Job summary

The Red Hat Products and Technologies (PnT) Business Insights team is looking for an Analytics Product Manager to join us in the U.S. In this role, you will work as part of a team that delivers data enablement, advanced analytics, actionable insights, and analytics consultation to measure business outcomes, identify opportunities and threats, and enable data-driven decision making. You will provide leadership and oversight in the development of analytical offerings that monitor, predict, and measure business performance. As an Analytics Product Manager, you will lead the development of product strategies and roadmaps and serve as the key contact for delivery to business users. The Red Hat offices in Raleigh, NC or Westford, MA are the preferred work locations for the role.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Translate business problems into data requirements and analytics offerings

  • Be accountable for building internal analytics offerings that turn raw data into actionable insights

  • Document use cases and internal stakeholders, gather requirements, set formal roadmaps, and manage relationships with other teams jointly working on that internal offering

  • Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts to facilitate the development of our offerings

  • Deliver offerings to stakeholders by training users, creating documentation, communications, and evangelism, including intranet, roadshows, newsletters, etc.

  • Provide strategic oversight and manage the overall end-to-end life cycle of analytics offerings

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience translating business problems into data requirements and analytics offerings

  • Advanced analytical skills, preferably with background in or familiarity with data science

  • Ability to reconcile technical and business perspectives

  • Ability to develop and maintain good relations and communicate with people at all hierarchical levels

  • Coachable, energetic, detail-oriented; focused on and diligent in delivering results

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal, and time management skills in a dynamic environment

  • Familiarity with Red Hat's portfolio of offerings and subscription business model

  • Experience with SQL, Python, and Tableau development is a big plus

  • Knowledge of open source software solutions and open source as a business model is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a quantitative field
