Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled student majoring in the life sciences, medicine, pharmacology/pharmacy, or related discipline for an internship opportunity. The goal of this position is for the individual to gain broad insight into the drug development process, knowledge of clinical regulatory documents, and hands‑on experience in regulatory affairs. The student should have strong interest in cancer research and learning about oncology drug discovery. Successful candidates will be able to work independently and will also be expected to proactively collaborate with colleagues.

The Regulatory Affairs department works in all of our therapeutic areas, including oncology, infectious disease, vaccines, cardiology, immunology, and neuroscience. The Summer Intern will work on a project within a therapeutic area that will give them individual and team experience with how clinical trials are designed, analyzed, and reported. They will work under the guidance of a mentor and have observational and hands-on responsibilities. Learning opportunities for the Intern:

The Regulatory Affairs Intern will work within a diverse group studying the role of regulatory affairs team in the oncology indications. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals enrolled in BS, MS, PharmD and PhD programs with interest in obtaining experience in drug development through the regulatory lens.

Additionally, successful candidates will have invaluable opportunities to develop and expand their professional networks. We are seeking candidates with strong performance, communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a multi-functional environment.

Required Education:

  • Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (or higher) in Biological Sciences or a related field

  • Candidates must have completed three (3) years of study towards a Bachelor's degree program prior to starting the position

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates must be able to commit to full-time onsite employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2025

  • Candidates must have strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Candidates must have strong scientific communication skills, including the ability to write scientific documents (e.g., lab reports, publications, dissertations, theses, abstracts) and deliver scientific presentations

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates should be highly motivated, driven and willing to take initiative to learn drug development

  • Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Candidates should be comfortable using a PC computer and proficient in Windows-based operating systems and basic applications, such as MS PowerPoint

  • Candidates should be interested in learning about the Pharmaceutical Industry with knowledge of Drug Development Process

  • Candidates who are enrolled in a Masters or Doctorate program are preferred

  • Candidates should have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

  • Candidates should have experience collaborating with others on project teams

  • Candidates should have time management skills (e.g. manage multiple projects/assignments & deliver each on time and with high quality)
