Job Description

Contractors will be working in teams of 1-3 to build various parts of industrial radiators. They will be utilizing hand and power tools to secure builds. These are large industrial radiators, some as big as a semi-trailer. Contractors will be climbing on top of the radiators utilizing ladders or scissor lifts. An overhead crane will be used to lift and move heavy objects. There are 7 different assembly areas that build either parts or full radiators. Once completed, leak tests will be performed.

Responsibilities

  • Work in teams of 1-3 to build industrial radiators.

  • Utilize hand and power tools to secure builds.

  • Climb on top of radiators using ladders or scissor lifts.

  • Use overhead crane to lift and move heavy objects.

  • Perform leak tests on completed radiators.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience.

  • 1+ year of power tool experience.

  • Ability to read a tape measure.

  • 18 months of tenure from one company within the past 5 years.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with blueprint reading.

  • Experience with overhead cranes.

Work Environment

The position is located in an assembly and fabrication shop. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 5 AM to 1:30 PM. The facility builds industrial radiators for various applications including data centers, warehouses, and production facilities. It is clean and organized but not temperature controlled, and can get hot during the summer. The position reports to the Heavy Assembly Supervisor.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50
