EMPLOYMENT SECURITY DEPT TREE FRUIT WORKERS X 126, QUINCY, CHELAN FALLS AREAS, H-2A in Quincy, Washington

This is an H-2A job order for agriculture workers* Harvest apples,pears, and wine grapes. Prune, thin and train trees* Workers will care for young non-producing fruit trees including weeding, hoeing, trunk painting, hand fertilizing and growth selection by hand and clipping.*Hand thinning of apple trees and grape vines*Pruning of apple trees*Train and limb positioning of apple trees and grape vines*Harvesting (by hand) of apple, and pear trees and grapes. *Providing general orchard labor*Work with irrigation equipment and irrigation duties. Workers can also:*Drivetractors*Spray and mix chemicals and fertilizers*Operate trucks to carry farm equipment, crops, and farmworkers*Perform general repair of agricultural equipmentJob Requirements *Three months of previous tree fruit work experience.*Willing to commit to the entire contract period*Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
