Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide a team of Risk Analysts, providing direction, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance

  • Participate in evaluating employee performance, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement

  • Participate in manager work queue assignments and risk review, including managing escalations and providing clarity on Risk Services process.

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and completion of team projects, including coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the team or department

  • Contribute to the training and development of team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively

  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments, collaborating with colleagues to address issues and resolve conflicts

  • Work with business partners to define/enhance solutions to meet business needs and security requirements

  • Process Risk Records, assess risk, identify and document associated mitigating controls, required remediation tasks and risk ranking

  • Work cross functionally with infrastructure and security teams to identify and assess technical risk and associated remediation plans

  • Engage CISO’s / BISO’s / SISO’s as needed for risk escalations, reviews and documented approvals

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant business experience, including internal audit or IT experience

  • 4+ years of knowledge of IT security and internal control concepts and how to apply them

  • 4+ years proven in-depth understanding of regulatory mandates and security models to include: ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOX, PCI, GLBA, NIST

  • 5+ years leadership/mentorship experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and/or mentorship skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members

  • Proven solid oral and written communication skills (verbal & written) and analytical skills

  • Ability to make a positive impact with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities
