Job Description:

We’re looking for an HR Business Partner to join our team at MBPS. In this role, you will provide high quality consulting support to the business unit in identifying and implementing appropriate employee strategies and solutions to support business unit objectives. The HRBP is responsible for driving organizational performance, talent management, employee engagement, and performance management processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to understand goals and objectives, providing HR insights and strategies that support business needs and act as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters, helping to drive cultural change and improve organizational effectiveness.

  • Performance Management: Facilitate performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and lead annual HR initiatives such as performance management and the annual compensation cycle.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that HR practices comply with Philippine labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and address employee relations issues, conducting investigations and managing resolution processes.

  • Talent Management: Provide employee career and / or performance counseling on an as-required basis and develop and implement talent development programs to enhance employee skills, retention, and career progression.

  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize HR data and analytics to guide decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Prepare and present regular HR reports to management, identifying trends and recommending appropriate actions.

  • Project Management: Lead and/or participate in corporate-wide initiatives and project work.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field

  • Experience: Minimum of five years progressive experience in an HR Business Partner/Generalist role, preferably in a BPO/shared service environment

  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)

  • Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand business objectives and align HR strategies to support overall organizational goals.

  • Proven business acumen with a strong understanding of organizational dynamics and financial metrics in a shared service set up.

  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR best practices in the Philippines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, lead change initiatives, and provide value add to the business.

  • Nice To Haves:

  • Proficient in HR Systems e.g. Workday, Salesforce, etc. and MS Office applications e.g. Excel

  • Certifications such as SHRM, CHRP, or equivalent are a plus.
