Responsibilities

  • Review factory schedules and Build Plan to ensure the demand and materials are driving correctly in the ERP system.

  • Attend all critical Core Team Meetings prepared to discuss all materials and documentation issues.

  • Control the purchase of unique and/or EC-controlled materials to support build plan of early prototypes, pilot runs and production ramp up until materials are stable in the design

  • Process of the initial Bill of Material in the ERP system.

  • Work with Design Team regarding timely BOM update, ECO implementation & communication to Planning & MSR before or during the build

  • Raise SRF for outgoing factory / customer shipments coming from Eastwood Engineering

  • Respond weekly to Factory Commodity team with regards to go/no go of build of EC-controlled Commodity assembly to prevent scrappage

  • Provide timely response to Planning's BOM exposure report to ensure that cost/scrappage are accounted for.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS Engineering course or equivalent

  • At least 2-year related experience in Materials Engineering

  • Advanced MS Office skills > Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Good written and communications skills

  • Familiarity with Oracle MRP System

  • Has initiative to solve problem and make decision in the most effective way.

  • Self-motivated with good prioritization & organizational skills
