US Retirement is a leading 401k provider in the United States, offering 401k retirement savings plans serving the small to large employer markets. RPS is a multi-location group that provides service and financial transaction support to over 53K plans, 3.1 million participants with $232 Billion in funds under administration.

Trust Operations is the back-office operations team responsible for custody, trading and reconciliation of US Retirement assets. The team is responsible for Trust platform setup, maintenance, unit value calculations and daily valuation of the platforms, money movement, cash and asset reconciliations, and reporting to clients and external partners such as fund families. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to grow, support and perform important job functions.

Job Description:

· Disbursement Accounts reconciliations to ensures that enough money liquidated to cover all payments as well as confirms that all payments were processed correctly.

· Reconcile federal and state taxes withheld from payments prior to remitting to the proper agencies and submit Daily Tax Remittance to John Hancock.

· Share Reconciliation to ensure the shares are in line with the Fund Family or Transfer Agents. Also be able to identify and resolve any work with Reconciliation team / external partners to resolve any cash and positions discrepancies that are over our threshold.

· Daily monitoring and processing of GA Trades that includes money movements and respond to rejects in a timely fashion.

· Reconcile, submit the daily Federal wire payments.

· Prepare & reconcile ACH credits/debits for file transmission to State Street Bank

· Perform RA reconciliation and preparation process

· Perform Cash Reconciliations, Banking application cleanup processes (CM Recon), Revenue sharing payment processing and other miscellaneous reconciliations to Identify & resolve individual discrepancies and efficiently to ensure systems are in balance

· Correct current and previous year tax records (AWD Tax Correction)

· Work within existing procedures and processes ensuring clear and concise documentation is created and maintained.

· Completed process improvements to minimize manual keying and improve accuracy.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

· Graduate of a degree in business or equivalent work experience preferred

· Knowledge and understanding of the mutual fund funds industry

· Excellent Excel skills using advanced formula (i.e. VLOOKUP’S, PIVOT tables, Macros and Formulas)

· Knowledge and experience using Essbase/Smartview/Dart to retrieve information from Lawson

· Knowledge and experience working with a reconciliation tools would be an asset

· Experience performing manual reconciliations using excel

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to assimilate a large amount of information and summarize for management creating concise executive highlights and or recommendation

· Ability to meet daily deadlines in a fast paced and demanding environment

· Good analytical, conceptual, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

· Accountability for any information released will be expected for this role

· Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service and relationship skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team while under pressure to adhere to strict deadlines

· Trading and/or operational experience in investment management or financial services a plus
