Algorithm Development Engineer Radar
The Sensing and Driving Functions Algorithm Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintainance of features in radar, camera, fusion, and/or vehicle control systems. He/she will actively work with internal and external engineering teams to bring high-quality products into production.
Lead a team of engineers to develop features across different projects
Develop embedded sensor algorithms to meet product requirements
Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to provide insight and inspire future development
Maintain correspondence with multiple engineering teams, both internal and external.
Maintain a thorough understanding of customer and product requirements
Follow Continental's Material Life Cycle development process, including code, requirements, and test result reviews
Effective communication in English (TOEIC 700+)
BS degree in related engineering field: Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics
Strong ability to solve problems in logic, mathematics, and dynamics
Proficient at implementing algorithms with C/C++ programming
Skilled at analyzing large sets of data using Python/Matlab
Experience developing complex software
Solid knowledge developing prediction, tracking, and classification algorithms for computer vision, machine learning etc
Willingness to work on different sensor products, and serve many different roles to fill department needs
Fluent communication in English (TOEIC 900+)
M.S./Ph.D. degree in related engineering field: Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics
At least 5 years of experience developing SW for automotive applications
Expert ability to solve problems in logic, mathematics, and dynamics
Experience developing automotive software is a plus
Development experience with radar and camera sensors and algorithms
Self-motivated, with an ability to work within a team or autonomously
