Food Service Worker - 40 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/25-10/30/25.

Employer: Six Flags Great Escape, LP, 1172 Route 9, Queensbury, NY 12804.

Duties: Providing guests with excellent service & quality food while operating cash register in accordance with Six Flags cash handling policies. Interact with guests, team members, leads, & supervisors daily. Resolve guest concerns that arise dally. Ensure that image, cleanliness, and courtesy standards are met daily. Duties include filling condiment dispensers, refilling soda machine syrups, timely preparation of food served to customers. Fast food items served: fruit, vegetables, Hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, chicken strips, French fries, onion rings, funnel cakes, dispensing soft serve and scooping hard packed Ice Cream. Specific job duties/functions: assist with prep for the day, getting things such condiments prepped and cut, items unpacked from Freezer; prepare the various food Items; clean up all the cooking equipment at the end of the shift maintain regular & prompt attendance, be positive, in uniform, on time for each scheduled shift.

Job Requirements: No education required. Six months of prior work experience required. On the job training provided. Must be at least 18 years of age. Lifting, standing, ability to communicate in English and use a register, w be exposed to rain, heat, cold, Wind, maybe snow.

Work hours: Employer is offering 35 hours per week at a rate of $15.08/hr. Up to 20 hours of overtime available per week, as needed. Overtime will be paid at a rate of $22.62/hr for working greater than 40 hours in any given week. Monday-Sunday 6:00am -11:00pm (days/shifts may vary). Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage rate or bonus to any worker, in their sole discretion, based on performance, skill, tenure or experience. Employer is offering at least 35 hours per week at a rate of $15,76/hr, Employer is offering up to 25 hours of overtime per week, as needed but not guaranteed, Overtime will be paid at a rate of $23,64/hr for working greater than 40 hours in any given week. Monday- Sunday 8:00am-11:00pm, bays and shifts may vary, Holidays, weekends, and evenings required as needed, Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage, rate, or bonus to any worker ln their sole discretion based on performance, skill, tenure, or experience.

Employer will launder uniform at no additional cost. Employer will provide a company logo shirt and hat. Worker will be responsible for providing their own khaki pants and/or shorts.

Optional Employer Housing is provided at a cost of $86/week.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

3/4s Guarantee: The worker is guaranteed employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
