Description
Clinician, Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program
Licensed Social Workers or Mental Health Professionals are eligible for $7500 signing bonus
As a Clinician in the Intensive Aftercare Prevention program (IAPP), you will provide home-based clinical services to children and their families to help preserve or reunite them following Northeast Parent & Child Society's stated purpose and mission of protecting children, preserving families, and strengthening communities. The Intensive Aftercare Prevention Program (IAPP) is a home and community-based program assisting families who have children in foster care or children who are at risk of being placed in foster care. You will report to the Program Coordinator and you will work remotely with travel to client homes required.
Responsibilities:
Provide home and community-based assessment, planning, and treatment with individuals, groups, and families with those enrolled in our Family Preservation services (the level of intensity/number of direct service hours per family is dependent upon the services in which one is employed)
Complete necessary all records and client information following agency, county, and state policy and funding requirements
Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family court, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and family as it relates to their treatment
Responsible for the clinician decisions when assigned and paired to work as a team with a Bachelors Clinician (Family Case Manager or Clinician Case Manager).
Ensure provisions of regular treatment plan meetings and services plan reviews.
Requirements and Education:
Requires a Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field
Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience.
License Preferred: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
Must have a valid driver's license.
