YAI Licensed Practical Nurse in Queens, New York

Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing medical insight

  • Wo rk in an increasingly autonomous rol e

  • P articipate in the assessment, planning, and implementation of medical care

  • P rovide oversight and training of direct care staff in monitoring the medical systems

  • P articipate in team meetings and provid e medically related in-services to program staff.

    Minimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.) Minimum requirements of specific positions may vary by assigned function and/or contract. Please refer to applicable regulations/contracts for all position requirements.

    All LPNs must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License

    Preferred Qualification Requirements ( desired requirements beyond MQRs above)

  • Med/Surg experience

  • Experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled population

    Compensation:

  • $50,000.00-55,000.00

    Schedule:

  • M-F 10a-6p
