We deliver end-to-end solutions that result in revolutionary work. Marketing Coordinator - Events This is a Full-time role in WPP/VML within a team of one of our largest Accounts in the IT industry. The team is part of a Corporate program to execute and land global, regional and local communications in a compliant, standardized and effective manner. All this, leveraging global communication programs and sophisticated Modern Marketing engines. The team is comprised of highly skilled Subject Matter Experts on all marketing services / execution / operations and act as the right hand of the field marketers; They are consultants, trusted advisors, and experts on the services they land. Functions range across communications to different audiences (B2B, B2C) and disciplines (event, digital, social, analytics, budget and planning Daily tasks will include: Project Management of a virtual/hybrid or in person events end to end. Upload requests/tickets for events production on different platforms. Update platforms, calendars and daily tracking files. Review of pieces and advertising materials. Coordination of dates and agendas of speakers and stakeholders for events, recordings, rehearsals and follow-up meetings. Lead event follow-up meetings. Event moderation. Preparation and submission of pre and post-event reports. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent management of diverse projects running in parallel without compromising deliverables. Proactivity in finding solutions to problems according to the limitations of the company and platforms. Competencies/Skills: Client management experience. Fluent in English. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Being able to adapt and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Relationship management skills collaboration and conflict resolution skills. Highly motivated and a proven self-starter. Excellent communication skills. Desired Characteristics: Self-starter with a proactive attitude. Individual contributor able to work effectively across different teams. Team player - must focus on winning as a team rather than individually. Detail-oriented - Treat the work as your own and can analyze. Drive for results - Be tough and persistent and know when to research vs. when to make a quick decision. Client service oriented - Be positive and optimistic. Required Experience: Student or graduated in Marketing/Advertising or related field and/or equivalent experience and education. 2-3 years in events experience. The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
