Contingent Upon Contract Award

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Records Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in converting, managing, retaining, and destroying official records, as well as creating agency policies for the retention and storage of these records. This role requires proficiency in using AFRIMS and expertise in tracking and retrieving records from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).

Requirements:

  • Experience in converting, managing, retaining, and destroying official records.

  • Experience creating agency policy for the retention and storage of official records.

  • Experience in using AFRIMS as well as tracking and retrieving records from NARA.

  • Experience in accurately completing Freedom of Information Act requests.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years relevant and specialized experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Current Secret Clearance (T3-T3R) is required.

  • Proficiency in using and maintaining criminal justice databases and systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Telework with 2 days a week in office in the National Capital Region (NCR) area.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
