InGenesis is currently seeking a Registered Nurse / RN - Psychiatric to work with our client. In this role, you will evaluate the nursing/medical needs of institutionalized patients and provide the necessary care. Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to): Provide professional nursing care to psychiatric and developmentally disabled patients. Initiate and direct implementation of the nursing care plan. Observe and document patient behavior, condition & responses to the care plan. Direct and provide guidance to lower-level healthcare staff on assigned shifts. Monitor LPN medication administration, documentation, patient care & operation of medical equipment. Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing services employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio as issued by the Board of Nursing. Biennial renewal of licensure as a registered nurse. Current immunizations. Current BLS certification.
