MPP Innovation Packer in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania

Hours & Shift:
1st: 8:00AM to 4:00PM
2nd: 4:00PM to 12:00AM
3rd: 12:00AM to 8:00AM
Job Summary:
Packing orders due for that day, and future shipments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating Motorized Pallet Trucks (Potential to use Forktruck after Certification)
- Placing packed product into inventory
- Using QAD
- Physically receiving and delivering material into the plant as well as entering receipt into QAD.
- Move Non-conforming product from inventory to RMA/MRB area physically and in QAD.
- Participate in scheduling and prioritizing of work for the department as required through working with scheduling board.
- Assist Shipping Department with supplying any needed customer required documentation.
- Assist with weekly inventory of department supplies and reordering to maintain correct inventory levels.
- Pack, weigh, and label completed items for finished goods.
- Follow all department guidelines / work instructions regarding to packing.
- Identify, document, and dispose of any non-conforming material (NCM) / Scrap.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment. (5's).
- Demonstrate and follow MPP core values.
Perform any duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills Executed: Communication, multi-tasking, ability to understand, attention to detail, organizational skills, team orientated, self-starter / efficient and follow directions.
Education: High School Graduate / GED
Safety Requirements: When required in specific areas. This includes, but is not limited to safety glasses, with side shields, hearing protection, and gloves.
