Education Requirements/Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

• Engineering Degree--BE(Electronic & Communication ) or BE(Electrical & Electronics)

• 6- 10 years Engineering & Technical experience

• Experience in Embedded Testing & Control System

• Knowledge and hands on Experience on Automation Testing with respect to Labview/ NI/ETAS

• Ability to analyse project scope provide Testing project Roadmaps of a category (Leverage -Testing,Automation,Test case design leverage)

• ISTQB Test Analyst certification .

• Lean PD, OPEX knowledge,

• Agile test certification

• Strong planning and project management skills

• Strong Problem solving competency, while displaying comfort with stakeholder management, Decision making and Conflict management.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

• Develop technical expertise within the organization, through coaching, mentoring, development, and infusion of new technologies

• Test scoping , planning and size & effort estimation for Test Automation & Manual Testing

• Expertise in execution of Complex algorithm/Feature

• Must be able to perform RCA analysis for defect leak

• Define Test Methodology for project

• Analyse defect trend of project(Improvisation plan)

• Able to provide Testing project Roadmaps of a category (Leverage --Testing,Automation,Test case design leverage)

• Able to identify, design , and create components required for automation setup, integrated with HIL Set up

• Analyse Technical Risk & TradeOff for project

• Responsible for bringing Continual Improvement in Test Process

• Lead team for Project test execution

• Enabling Predictable delivery : Must be able to define ,derive & analyse the Project metrics

• Agile Engineering to understand and validate requirements before scoping projects.

• Able to write test scripts, libraries and functions.

• Experience in automation framework designing and development.

• Responsible for reviewing test scripts, test reports etc.

Deliverables :

• Plan capability built up internal / External to deliver Test Automation / Manual Test

• Strive for Software predictability / Stability & attempting to make it an integral part of every project/program execution

• Test automation and Platform Libraries enhancements.

• Automation Framework Enhancements

• Build internal team capability on Test Automation

• Maintain Test Automation dashboards and Automation Project Metrics

• Articulate & express the status of project by asking for right inputs during Project Milestone

Process / Decision Owned :

• Signoff on work package readiness at project tollgates.

• Knowledge management for domain area

Technical Mentoring and Coaching :

- Provide technical support to Test engineers
