Overview:

The Mastercard Access team is dedicated to growing MasterCard revenue from transaction switching and from value added services associated with switching. The Mastercard Access team partners with C&I, Operations & Technology and Regional Partners to enhance the strategic fit, quality, efficiency, and applicability of Mastercard’s network and services assets to customer need and market opportunities and evolves MasterCard’s network assets architecture to drive competitive advantage. The team creates and packages Product and Solutions offerings to drive new transaction flows, VAS product distribution and competitive advantage with Issuers, Acquirers, Merchants, Processors, Financial institutions, FinTech’s, Governments and other industry participants.

The Cyber & Intelligence Solutions (C&I) team is responsible for product management and innovative product development of products and services to address the evolving risk and security needs of all Mastercard’s various customer segments. The C&I Network team is responsible for developing strategy and delivering solutions that drive easy connectivity, expand network reach, and distribute services. The team partners with cross-functional global stakeholders (Product, Operations & Technology, Strategic Program Management, Sales, and Account teams) - both internal and external – in developing and delivering capabilities that enhance the value proposition of the MC network and the various value-added services.

The candidate for the Product Analyst position will focus on supporting product development, delivery, implementation, sales and support of the connectivity solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

 Provide insights toward influencing the sales strategy and contribute to the development of materials for RFPs.

 Assist regional partners in developing & implementing strategies for distributing value added services.

 Leverage data tools to track and manage revenue forecasting, measuring product performance and revenue generation.

 Perform market research and capture voice of customer to generate insights and aid in the development of capabilities that enhance customer’s connectivity experience.

 Support the definition of necessary capabilities, write business requirements, and help manage delivery.

 Provide insight to Product owners, Regional Product Sales, Product Delivery and Account Management teams on solution capabilities.

 Contribute to the product advancement efforts including to develop documentation on solution capabilities that can be leveraged by both internal/external teams.

All about You:

Knowledge/Experience:

• Strong analytical skills with ability to mine and interpret data for audit, revenue projections etc.

• Expertise on Data visualisation.

• Experience working with data models and data patterns

• Skilled in SQL and Python

• Knowledge of data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Oracle, Hadoop)

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)

• Creativity and problem solving.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.

• Knowledge in financial domains and payments.

• Knowledge and experience with Mastercard Products and Services is a plus.

• Ability to effectively manage cross functional partners while performing multiple functions.

• Self-motivated, problem solver who is result driven and has a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment.

• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

• Deep knowledge of analytics and dashboards for conveying information

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task

• Detail-oriented with an ability to understand and contribute to operational product processes.
