As a Software (DevOps) Engineer, you will work with the Senior architects and Senior DevOps Engineers to ensure that our global applications/platforms are always available to meet the needs of our internal customers. This position requires an engineering discipline combined with systems engineering and software skills!

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with 6 to 10 years experience in installation, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of tools used by development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We seek a candidate who would Configure and handle applications to ensure high availability.

  • We are hunting a person who would maintain and coordinate data stores ensuring proper backup, replication, and failover strategies.

  • Write and maintain scripts in Shell, Perl, Python or other appropriate languages to automate infrastructure, deployment tasks or other automation that can be used by the Engineering Business Segments.

  • Develop and maintain IAC scripts to provision and configure virtual machines and applications.

  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and other stakeholders to improve development processes and streamline workflows.

  • Monitor and solve infrastructure issues, working with other teams to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

  • Handle the patching process for our infrastructure, ensuring timely application of security updates and patches.

  • Stay up to date with security advisories and vulnerability management, proactively identifying potential security threats and taking action to mitigate risks.

  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule.
