Onit Senior Devops Engineer in Pune, India
R&D – Onit – Pune, Maharashtra, India – Full Time
As DevOps Engineer, you will be immersed in all aspects of DevOps, the AWS Cloud, and beyond. You will have a wide variety of problems to solve, from supporting and building out CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and improving the scalability and reliability of our applications running in the cloud.
The Role
Develop, maintain, and update infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate the provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure.
Write automation scripts in Python to enhance the efficiency and reliability of DevOps processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot the infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security of the cloud environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices and methodologies.
Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve our infrastructure and automation processes.
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes.
Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
Mandatory Skills:
At least 6 years of experience in a DevOps role.
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Strong Python skills for scripting and automation.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Experience with containerization and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, Prometheus and ELK stack.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
