Job Description
You will be part of the Finance Shared services Team. We are looking forSenior Accountant/Assistant Manager- Global Tax & GL.The role is designed to support to Global Tax Director based in the USA. This is an individual contributor role with key responsibilities supporting the global income tax provision, tax compliance and transfer pricing functions. This person also helps on the GL activities during the close. It also provides excellent exposure to stakeholder management and Group reporting.

Responsibilities
Preparation of income tax packages and various supporting book-to-tax computations for the quarterly global tax provision and tax return preparation.
Manage the global income tax compliance calendar including federal and state tax returns, extensions, estimated taxes, tax payments and others.
Prepare income tax journal entries, account reconciliations, and quarterly variance analyses.
Preparation of transfer pricing calculations and transfer pricing journal entries.
Manage APAC withholding taxes including preparation reconciliation, coordination with customers and collection of tax certificates.
Assist with managing tax notices and support tax audits.
SOX related documentation.
Other ad-hoc projects including tax research.
Proactively support in engagement with operations, finance, and tax team to enable business knowledge sharing with the team and help embed into processes as relevant.
Support continuous professional development and good practices with a positive attitude towards building digital skillsets.
Suggest and implement process improvements in all aspects of operational Tax.
Perform certain General Ledger activities during the monthly/Quarterly/Annual close.
Technical Skills / Experience
Previous experience of 5+ years on taxation of working within a Group Tax function in a fast moving and dynamic business, Experience from Big 4 added advantage.
Minimum 3-5 years of US taxation experience and should have managed the US tax return.
Good knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, IGAAP tax accounting
Experience with MS tools, particularly complicated Excel spreadsheets, ERP system etc.
