AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Scrum Master.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to facilitate and drive our Agile development processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles and be capable of guiding teams to consistently deliver high-quality products. The Scrum Master will be responsible for coaching team members, removing obstacles, and ensuring the smooth and effective implementation of Agile practices within their assigned teams.
Your Impact
Facilitate Agile Processes:
Guide, mentor, and support the development team in using Agile principles and practices effectively.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
Foster a collaborative and self-organized team environment to promote continuous improvement.
Remove Impediments:
Identify and proactively remove obstacles to ensure the team achieves its goals.
Collaborate with other teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to solve cross-team dependencies and challenges.
Promote Agile Best Practices:
Act as a change agent and champion for Agile adoption within the team and the organization.
Educate and coach team members and stakeholders on Agile practices and principles to encourage transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
Track and Monitor Team Progress:
Monitor and communicate team progress, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Utilize Agile metrics (such as velocity and burndown charts) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Foster Strong Communication:
Ensure clear and concise communication among team members, stakeholders, and management.
Serve as a liaison between the development team and other departments, managing expectations and communicating changes effectively.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+years of relevant experience.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar project management software.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and guide a team to achieve shared objectives.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to identify and address issues proactively.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
