Position Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager, Data Platform to join Autodesk's Analytics Data Platform team to drive successful realization of the platform infrastructure vision for faster and easier access to data. The platform infrastructure team delivers secure and compliant solutions, to serve Autodesk teams at a global scale. Central Data Lake is critical to the platform infrastructure vision and serves growing number of data use cases for data analytics, machine learning, generative AI, and streaming for Product and Enterprise teams. As member of the Platform Infrastructure team, you will define and drive the unified experience for Autodesk's Central Data Lake according to our company's goals.

You will report to the Director of Product Management based in the US. You will be working from Pune office and in hybrid workplace mode.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the unified user experience for Autodesk’s central analytics data lake in alignment with company objectives and customer needs

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with a distributed international team as the main interface for collaboration with internal business partners to ensure delivery is aligned with business needs and the product vision

• Customer Engagement: Directly engage with platform users and engineering stakeholders to understand their challenges, gather product feedback, and identify new opportunities. Maintain close partnership with the data science, data engineering, and business intelligence teams

• Hands-on product leader: Ability to hold technical discussions with platform users and engineering stakeholders, author product requirement documents; collaborate with engineering and lead activities such as quarterly planning, prioritization, etc

• Market Analysis: Maintain awareness of the latest trends in big data, AL/ML platforms. Experience in vender assessments a plus

• Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring that products meet and exceed customer expectations

• Internal Advocacy: Act as the internal subject matter expert, providing training and support to other teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: 4-7 years’ experience in product management, with a focus on building platforms at scale and familiarity with Big Data tech stacks and use cases

• Platform and User Experience: Experience working on data products, data warehouses, and/or other data-centric software solutions a must. Ability to provide technical demos. of work product

• Technical Proficiency: Understanding of Amazon EMR, Spark, Hive, Presto/Athena, EKS on AWS. Access management for big data, Platform observability/performance/cost, and other DataOps/MLOps tooling (Artifactory, Spinnaker, Jenkins)

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and drive results

• Customer-centric: Strong customer engagement skills with a knack for understanding and translating customer needs into product requirements

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and devise appropriate strategies. Strong problem-solving skills

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex topics clearly and effectively
