Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work on a scrum team of about 7 – 10 team members.

  • Demonstrate impact and influence across teams outside of the direct organization.

  • Contribute significantly to large-scale, intricate projects involving multiple engineers and cross-functional teams.

  • Spearhead solutions for uncertain milestones, from requirement clarification and scope planning to ensuring delivery.

  • Influence cross-functional teams and contribute to large-scale projects.

  • Be a role model for working in the production codebase for Autodesk Platform Services (C# / .Net Framework & Core) to deliver high-quality, secure, and stable code.

  • Develop, troubleshoot, test, and debug C# .Net components.

  • Engage directly with customers to provide technical support for complex issues.

  • Be a technical leader who influences technical decisions across multiple teams.

  • Write technical design documents, participate in design and code reviews within the team, across teams, develop estimates for tasks, and document code.

  • Work with an extended team of software developers, QAs, and Product Managers and Architects in the US and other worldwide engineering sites.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.

  • Act as a Product owner for the team; balancing requirements from different sources like PM, Architectural roadmap, and service/component improvement.

  • Lead team initiatives and drive key business outcomes.

  • Navigate uncertain milestones from concept to successful delivery.

  • Lead technical discussions and incident resolutions.

  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert, make significant contributions to design.

  • Utilize expertise in .Net and C#, along with a strong grasp of key design principles.

  • Design solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a software engineer, with a focus on .Net and C#.

  • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.

  • Excellent knowledge of .Net programming and C#.

  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.

  • Knowledge of test-driven development.

  • Mastery in software engineering tools, including Git/GitHub & Jenkins & experience with build and deployment processes.
