Eaton Corporation Lead Analyst - Oracle Finance (Techno-Functional) in Pune, India

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules along with the technical skills to support system configurations, customization, and integration. The role involves collaborating with business users to gather requirements, design solutions, configure applications, and provide ongoing support.

1.Demonstrate in depth knowledge across ERP landscapes Especially Oracle Financials by delivering quality solutions. Analyzes and troubleshoots complex production issues for Oracle Financials R12 (including interfaces, reports, customizations extensions and workflows) and drives resolution within agreed SLA’s.

2.Expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Experience in writing/debugging/Tuning complex SQL queries. Hands-on experience on Oracle R12 tables, views, and setups.

3.Solution Design for complex / critical application development and integrations with multiple systems. OR Requirement translation into technical solution designs by appropriate prototyping.

4.Expert in Oracle functional modules in O2C, Receivables, Tax, and GL modules

5.Good understanding of setups in O2C, Receivables, Tax, and GL modules

6.Good knowledge of Sub ledger accounting

7.Good accounting and multi-country taxation knowledge

8.Expert understanding and ability to analyze and query application data schema

9.Requirements gathering and scope definition with non-technical business user constituencies.

10.Worked on ServiceNow. Work closely with other teams e.g DBA’s, Finance Technologies to ensure tickets are addressed in timely manner.

11.Documents and create the knowledge repository which will helps in providing quick resolution of tickets.

12.Identify the opportunity of Continuous improvement and drive the same.

What you’ll do:

1.Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to Oracle EBS Financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Account Payables (AP), Account Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), and others.

2.Design and implement solutions within Oracle EBS Financial modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.

3.Provide technical expertise in Oracle EBS Financial modules, including but not limited to SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, and XML Publisher.

4.Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

5.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle EBS Financial modules, working closely with business users and IT teams.

6.Develop and maintain documentation such as functional specifications, technical designs, test plans, and user manuals.

7.Ability to use and update knowledge repository. Will maintain a global mindset to ensure that the development/fixes will have no impact on global functionality.

8.Participate in application upgrades by testing and documenting functionality in conjunction with Functional analysts. Stays current with Technology trends in Information Technology advancements

9.Leads continuous improvements on in-scope support initiatives. Will manage incidents/requests and changes by troubleshooting and bug-fixing/development of Interfaces, Reports, Conversions, Extensions, Workflow, Forms using Oracle development technologies.

10.Will trouble-shoot and provide expertise as a Production support specialist. Demonstrates Incident and Problem Management Expertise .

11.Will deliver incident, request and change within EATON specified SLAs and updates to stakeholders in timely manner

12.Proven competency in communication, presentation, training, documentation and support

13.Ability to communicate directly with the users, verbal and written

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as: B.E / BTech / MCA / Equivalent (EITC) or B.S. Comp Sci / Mathematics / Engineering / Equivalent

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience

• 5+ years’ experience in design, development, implementation and administration of Oracle Finance application development

Skills:

• Strong Oracle Development/support experience in SQL, PLSQL, FORMS/OAF/ADL, Interfaces, Workflows and data conversions

• Oracle Financials R12 Functional Experience in core modules O2C, RTR, EBTax (Min 8 years minimum)

• Expert Understanding of ITSM and SDLC processes

• Good to have at minimum 1 year of experience in application support activities

• Oracle Apps – India Localization experience (advantageous)

• Good to have knowledge in Oracle EPM and related applications

• Oracle Financials R12 Functional Experience Core modules AR, AP, GL, FA, Projects (8 years minimum)

• Unix, Linux (advantageous)

• Strong in AOL, Integrations tools and Oracle API's knowledge

• Good team player, self-motivated and committed with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal skills with experience of direct customer involvement and requirements analysis

• Nice to have Knowledge of all phases of UML.
