IT Onboarding Admin

Overview:

As an IT Onboarding Admin , you will serve as the first point of contact within IT that our new hires will work with. As part of the IT End User Solutions team, you will play a critical role in executing Evolent’s mission by supporting our IT onboarding process which includes IT hardware lifecycle asset management.

One of the requirements for this position is a passion for serving customers with an ability to adapt quickly and engage in both problem resolution and problem prevention. We expect you to be a self-starter, technically adept, able to work independently and within a team. This position requires a great attitude, good communication, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to research & resolve escalated issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage tasks relating to employees and contractors joining and exiting the organization.

  • Coordinate with the internal Talent team to gather new hire details and dispatch IT Equipment to remote locations; also follow up with vendors as needed to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Manage IT hardware inventory to ensure assets are available to deploy for end users.

  • Follow and maintain documentation of ordering processes.

  • Work with UPS system and provide tracking numbers/labels to end users.

  • Order IT supplies and ensure they are received.

  • Process invoices with AP / AR departments.

  • Update/maintain IT hardware asset database as needed.

  • Manage system replacement tasks, and coordinate with End users and Vendors to fulfill those requests.

  • Setup and perform New Hire IT Orientation which will include using teleconferencing applications and remote access applications.

  • Assist with password resets as needed.

  • Ready to work to support US-based working hours.

Required:

  • A good familiarity with Windows 10 UI.

  • Working knowledge of system management tools and Office 365 Applications.

  • Must have deep knowledge of IT hardware.

  • Experience with IT hardware asset management processes.

  • Experience working in an IT Help Desk ticketing system (such as Jira, ServiceNow Ivanti, Remedy, or otherwise).

  • Must be well organized.

  • Ability to communicate and work with technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to modify communication style to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted, with a strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer.

  • Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.

Mandatory Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
