Job Summary

If you are a Inside Sales / Proposal Engineering professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Senior Inside Sales Engineer to work with our domestic team. This role will work independently and as a part of a team prepare competent techno-commercial offer in line with customer specifications and with suitable alternatives in consultation with respective departments and with customer thereby help Sales to achieve Sales targets with desired Profits / margins..

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Study and analyze customer enquiries and seek techno commercial clarifications from respective PSQ’s / departments,

  • Prepare systematic, error free & timely costing sheets, techno commercial offers, and technical datasheets as per customer’s requirements and in line with manufacturing capabilities.

  • Prepare response in consultation with Seniors to technical & commercial queries raised by customers.

  • To assist the Sales during the order finalization.

  • Prepare technical requirement sheet/ Work order for smooth execution of Customer order.

  • Review LOI/ PO and provide inputs to Order entry team.

  • To resolve critical issues raised by technical cell, PMO & factory during order execution.

  • Maintain CRM of enquiries and Quotes submitted.

Who You Are:

You focus on understanding specification requirements & resulting in optimum solution from the wide product basket. The efforts on continuous improvement; has a knack for identifying cost optimization through innovative solutions & right selection of buyout products & and competitive information to improve winning percentage. Exposure with various international / End users / Consultant standards and their operating practices.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 6 to 8 years' Proven experience in Inside Sales / Proposal engineering for product like ball valves, butterfly valves with inhouse automation.

  • International Standards and customer specifications.

  • Understanding of valve automation & its pricing

  • MS excel proficiency
