Citigroup EUC Remediation - Lead Data Analyst (VP) in Pune, India
The Lead Data Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
This position will be responsible for assisting in the reduction of reliance on end user computing (EUCs) through identification, development, general program oversight of Global Solutions to remediate EUCs as it pertains to EUC reductions Loans requirements within ISG Data & Regulatory group.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the EUC team, to interface the business, translating business requirements into technical requirements and will have strong functional knowledge from banking and financial system.
The role will be responsible for data analysis and mapping of a mix of End User Computing systems within banking and financial system.
Lead the definition and ongoing management of target data architecture for risk information.
Leverage internal and external leading practices and liaising with other Citi risk organizations to determine and maintain appropriate alignment, specifically with Citi Data Standards.
Work in conjunction with information owners and technology partners to define and implement the roadmap.
Establish a governance process to oversee implementation activities and ensure ongoing alignment to the defined architecture.
Perform analysis of data quality issues and deliver metrics reporting.
Define and implement risk data roadmap.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
12-16 years experience in analyzing and defining risk management data structures
Demonstrated influencing, facilitation and partnering skills
Track record of interfacing with and presenting results to senior management
Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
Subject matter expert for project initiation phase in the End-user computing domain (EUC)
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
Organize and attend workshops to understand the current state of the EUC service line
Proven aptitude for organizing and prioritizing work effectively (Must be able to meet deadlines)
Propose a solution and deployment approach to achieve EUC remediation.
Hands-on experience of writing SQL queries in multiple database environments and OS; Experience in validating end to end flow of data in an application.
Assess the list of packaged applications and define the re-packaging approach
Understanding of Capital markets (risk management process), Loans / CRMS required
Knowledge of process automation and engineering will be plus.
Advanced MS Office (Access, Excel and PowerPoint), advanced use Business Intelligence/Data Visualization software as Microstrategy,Tableau and of structured languages as Python, R, is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred
