RedHat Data Custodian Specialist in Pune, India
The Red Hat Information Management (IM) team is looking for a Data Custodian Specialist to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will support our Asia Pacific (APAC) customers’ and partners’ data management activities. You will manage data hygiene, quality, and governance by focusing on accurate data creation and continuous maintenance efforts throughout our systems. You’ll need to be highly committed to meeting the team's KPIs and project or initiatives deadlines and able to effectively coordinate with the business and backoffice stakeholders. As a Data Custodian Specialist, you’ll also need to be motivated and passionate to contribute to the overall team’s success in delivering complete, good quality data to our stakeholders in APAC or the Global Analytics team. You will report to the APAC data custodian manager.
Primary job responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for regional business and backoffice team for data-related needs or support
Strive to achieve the regional KPIs
Be responsible for the overall region’s data hygiene, quality, and governance, especially in the focus accounts
Ensure data integrity across all systems; audit, validate, consolidate, and maintain the systems
Monitor the audit and governance dashboard and manage the non-conformance data
Co-own process and documentation, especially the regional nuances
Adhere to processes and rules; contribute to changes to further enhance data quality
Identify and gather feedback for issues and suggestions for the APAC data custodian manager
Support the month and quarter-end closing, yearly account segmentation, APAC and global projects, systems, and process enhancement testing
Customer data management experience
Excellent business-level communication skills
Meticulous, systematic, and process-oriented; ability to adhere to rules strictly
Comfortable with working on your own with little instruction on a daily basis and achieving results when presented with only general instructions on new assignments
Working experience in SQL or equivalent languages
Solid spreadsheet skills
Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of data or sales operations experience
Experience with Oracle applications and some background in Salesforce.com (SFDC) is a plus
