Citigroup CCB QA Analyst in Pune, India

The IT Quality Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

Responsibilities:

  • Tests and analyzes a broad range of systems and applications to ensure they meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, test cases and scripts.

  • Executes test scripts according to application requirements documentation.

  • Selenium, Manual and Automation testing and thorough knowledge around STLC and testing methodologies.

  • Identifies defects and recommends appropriate course of action; performs root cause analyses.

  • Documents, evaluates and researches test results for future replication.

  • Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.

  • Analyzes requirements and design aspects of projects. Interfaces with stakeholder, BA leads and development teams.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years Quality Assurance experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how Quality Assurance methodology fits into the SDLC Knowledge of relevant operating systems, languages and database tools Knowledge of defect tracking systems and processes, including change management Knowledge of automated regression testing tools. Experience of testing trading platforms or similar software. Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines

  • Experience in Test Automation using Selenium including framework maintenance, Framework Optimization, Automation Strategizing, Automation Planning and Automation Test Execution.

  • Deep expertise in testing tools - Selenium, BDD, Cucumber with good concepts of Java - OOPS concepts

  • Experience in Test Automation testing framework like TestNg, Junit

  • Experience with any OOP language like Java, Python.

  • Exposure to version control tool like GIT/SVN and CI/CD tools like Jenkins

  • Experience in webservice Automation using Rest Assured/Postman or any other open-source tool.

  • Expertise in ETL testing, Strong Knowledge in Database testing and ability to write complex queries.

  • Experience in testing reporting and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI is a big Plus.

  • Experience in working on Big Data env, Hadoop, Hive is a big plus.

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
