AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Electrical CAD Designer.

This position is responsible for designing electrical wiring diagrams in E3 (2D), routing in CREO (3D) and releasing component into the EBOM (Windchill) getting inputs from the Solution, System Architects as well from the mechanical engineering. Domains of expertise are mainly related to power lines, Communication buses (Can, LIN, Ethernet), Inputs/Outputs definition and electrical components installation in a virtual 3D environment, considering factors such as accessibility, serviceability, vibration, isolation and thermal constraints. It requires a high level of attention to detail and understanding of relevant industrial control system products, design topologies, product-specific and industry best-practices. This position reports to the Electrical Product owner.

Your Impact

  • Design and Integration of the electrical components such as fuses boses, all harnesses used on the different new platforms programs.

  • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other tractor subsystems.

  • Participating in the electrical and power distribution architecture ensuring compliance with Agco standards, regulations (ISO26262) and industry best practices.

  • Maintain/update current electrical schematics for the product already in production.

  • Release components into the EBOM using Windchill.

  • Technical Reviews of the electrical architectures, new component designs and integrations.

  • Revisions and acceptance status throughout project cycle.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in harness design and installation, tools, and practices.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).

  • 5+years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in wiring harness design and installation, preferably in the agricultural machinery or automotive industry.

  • Proficiency in CAD software for 2D schematics (E3) and 3D modeling (PTC CREO preferably)..

  • Strong knowledge of Electrical constraints and integration principles.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

  • Potential problems wiring harnesses and components integration issues leading to functional or performance issues, Wrong serviceability /accessibility causing waste of time for any intervention on the machines
