Join the Oracle Applications Lab (OAL) Team! We are seeking a Data Engineer to work on the development of Demand Planning and Supply Fulfillment applications. As a Data Engineer, you will own one of the most critical applications for OCI infrastructure growth. You will be directly responsible for the software architecture and development for external customer applications critical to delivering OCI capacity.

As an engineering team, we support OCI's growth by systematically addressing the end-to-end capacity flow by providing data, applications, and services. Practically speaking, this means collecting and interpreting large data sets, building end-to-end capacity management applications, and automating manual processes that are often stuck in Excel.

Duties involved in this position:

• Implementation of and customization and enhancements to the Value Chain Planning suite of products including Supply Chain Planning/Demand Management/Inventory Optimization/Service Parts Planning/Strategic Network Optimization.

• Develop and implement new custom tools and product extensions/customizations based on state of the art algorithms in optimization, statistics and machine learning.

• Predictive analytics using Oracle Data Mining, Oracle R Enterprise.

Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS, BE, B Tech, MS, ME, M. Tech, MCA or equivalent with experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
