Job Title

Advisor, Software Development Engineering

10-14 years of experience specifically related to full stack hands-on development and architecture of Python based application / large module which involves system integration, data communication, environment setup etc.

• Experience in backend / front-end design & development using Python, SQL Server, Java, Web Services, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, jQuery, Stored Procedure

• Experience in Python including multithreaded programming, socket level programming, lot of memory and operating system level operations, asynchronous communication between different modules

• Define solution approach, Design documentation and performance analysis approach.

• Good understanding of architecture principles of the non-functional requirements (like Performance, Security, Web Accessibility and Integration for web applications), raise relevant queries, provide high level technical design for the solution and discuss Non-Functional Requirements.

• Self-starting, self-motivated, able to work independently with positive attitude and able to demonstrate their process-oriented approach towards software development

• Provide expertise in applying the enterprise architecture for business or technical activities to a specific system or function.

• Ability to look at the design of a legacy solution and provide recommended migration roadmap, estimate solution, provide design and solution for migrated solution

• Strong ability to write technical documents, support requirements decomposition, coordinate working POCs and evolve to deployable code, ability to present designs to peers and Product Owner for approval, Deep understanding of all lifecycle components (code, test, deploy)

• Document and maintain all design documents and involve in review process.

• Experienced problem solving and debugging skills.

• Good knowledge on Threat Monitoring Process/Vulnerability Assessment/Configuration Management/Vulnerability Remediation Management plan

• Understanding of Operational Risk Management concepts and framework through prior work experience or educational qualification.

• Day to day monitoring of critical data, application, and system related alerts and notifications originating from monitoring systems like data leak prevention systems, database protection systems, system event log monitoring systems, and others.

• Take appropriate action on data leaks, data privacy alerts, system alerts, etc and report progress to management.

• Provide support for the FRMS business continuity program to address disaster recovery, business continuity and emergency response management.

• Monitor protection levels of critical data, report violations and risks to management for appropriate actions.

• Develop and maintain BCP-DR processes, policies and documentation in support of the FRMS business continuity program.

• Work with Information technology team to build DR plan and strategy for critical applications and ensure that internal recovery sites are updated and functioning properly.

• Perform business impact analysis for functional areas to identify points of vulnerability, single point of failure and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.

• Assist crisis management team in the event of business interruptions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint etc.

• Good Analytical and Presentation skills.

• Ensure accurate, consistent and timely completion of all reports.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and generate adhoc reports on a need basis.

• Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
