The Opportunity:

 

Washington State University (WSU) Responsibility Opportunity Advocacy and Respect (ROAR) on the Pullman Campus at Washington State University is seeking a dedicated and professional Student Services Coordinator/Advisor 2 to join our team. WSU-ROAR is a residential, inclusive postsecondary education program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). WSU ROAR provides individualized programs of study in education, vocation, social skills, and independent living through person-centered planning.

 

As the Student Services Coordinator/Advisor 2, you will utilize your experience planning, organizing and prioritizing skills to perform all administrative tasks, timelines, and record-keeping associated with implementing and maintaining the WSU ROAR program, including but not limited to: maintaining and evaluating daily programming; maintaining program operations; responsible for program results; teaching workshops; facilitating independent living skill development; training and supervising hourly undergraduate staff; providing experiential opportunities for students; organizing events; representing the program to internal and external constituents; related administrative functions.

 

This is a full (100% FTE), project position. This position is overtime eligible.

Temporary End Date: This is a temporary position expected to end on December 31, 2025. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.

 

Monthly Salary: $4,061.90 - $5,585.10 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

 

In accordance with https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:

 

• Positions require a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
