Summary of Duties:
This position may be filled at any of the three levels: Research Study Assistant, Research Study Coordinator 1 or Research Study Coordinator 2 dependent on finalist's qualifications and experience.
The Research Study Assistant, Research Study Coordinator 1 or Research Study Coordinator 2 will provide coordination and oversight of research projects, leading the implementation of research studies and projects within the Promoting Research Initiatives in Substance Use and Mental Health (PRISM) Collaborative. The role will develop and manage research protocols, lead recruitment and retention strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary point of contact for project sites.
Additionally, this position will manage complex data systems, co-author manuscripts, and ensure compliance with all human subjects and Institutional Review Board (IRB) regulations.
This position will work on the Washington State University Measurement Delivery and Evaluation Team for Washington State's New Journeys Network, providing technical assistance and collaborating with mental health clinics, community members, and research teams from partnering universities in the state. New Journeys is the coordinated specialty care model for youth and young adults experiencing their first episode of psychosis in Washington State, and is currently implemented in community-based programs throughout the state.

Required Qualifications:
Research Study Assistant
Two years of college level course work in a relevant academic area AND one year of appropriate experience OR equivalent education/experience.
Research Study Coordinator 1
Two years of college level course work in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Assistant OR equivalent education/experience.
Research Study Coordinator 2
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Coordinator OR equivalent education/experience.
All classifications require the same additional and preferred qualifications.
Additional Requirements:
• Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with https://policies.wsu.edu/prf/index/manuals/safety-policies-procedures-manual/sppm-7-10/ and departmental driving standards.
