Position Details:

 

Summary of Duties:

 

Supervise assigned personnel and direct the activities of the media maintenance department. Responsible for direction, installation, maintenance, and assistance with audio/visual and technical support for meetings and events coordinated by the Compton Union, Chinook and Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center. This person will be responsible for hiring, training, supervision and scheduling of event services staff.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

One year of experience as a Media Maintenance Technician 3 or Lead; OR five years of experience as a media maintenance technician; OR equivalent education/experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's Degree.

 

• Event coordination experience.

 

• Experience managing and maintaining comprehensive, integrated built in house audio-visual system.

 

• Experience with day of management of concert audio-visual systems including setting up and operating concert lighting systems and operating multi-channel digital sound boards.

Monthly Salary:

 

$4,174 to $5,615 | Range 49 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with https://https:/app.leg.wa.gov/WAC/default.aspx?cite=357-28.
