Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Hardware Engineering Intern in Pullman, Washington

Are you interested in getting hands-on electronics experience while working on real-world product applications? Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative, and detail-oriented individual with an interest in designing electronic circuits for our Hardware Engineering Intern position at Pullman, WA.

As a Hardware Engineering Intern, a typical day might include the following:

  • Providing technical support to SEL staff & customers.

  • Developing and maintaining knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.

  • Performing testing on new and existing technology.

  • Documenting and communicating test results.

    This job might be for you if:

  • You are currently a student pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, with one to two years engineering education completed.

  • You have the ability to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer.

  • You have a strong understanding of electric circuit fundamentals.

  • You have working knowledge of electronic components and circuit design.

  • You are able to use electronic equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

  • You are able to use MS-Office tools.

  • You have interest in using SPICE and other simulation tools.

  • You have strong writing, documentation, and communication skills.

  • You are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

  • You are able to work cooperatively in a team environment.

  • You have background check results satisfactory to SEL and negative drug test result(s).

Pay Range Data

($17.00 - $26.50 per hour)* Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
